The Healing Power of Flowers

In this blog we interview Diana Thompson about her journey to starting Samantha's Garden, a unique floral design company where they use the beauty of nature to tell their story and write a page in yours.

WiM: Tell us a little about your business. What do you provide?

DT: Samantha’s Garden is Ministry before a business. We focus on sharing love and grace through the beauty of flowers. We are a retail and wholesale florist, from everyday arrangements to weddings and events. We focus on giving back to communities locally and globally. We partner with nonprofits that help women and children get out of human trafficking. A portion of our proceeds go toward supporting those organizations.

WiM: What motivated you to start your business?

DT: Experiencing the Lord’s grace and love through the healing of my abortion left me forever changed. I felt compelled to share Samantha’s story. Flowers were a big part of my healing and I wanted to share that with everyone with whom I come in contact. Cultivating a space that is filled with the way God has redeemed me allows people to experience His redemptive work themselves. Flowers are a reminder of His love and grace.

WiM: How do you tap into the creativity necessary to do the work you’re doing?
