About the Event

Polished is a network that gathers professional women to navigate career and explore faith together. We are a safe community of professional women who ask the hard questions about life and faith and work to find the answers together.

When it comes to creativity, people tend to define themselves as either having it or not. But what if creativity and its benefits are more about the process than the outcome?

Research shows that engaging in creative activities has a positive impact on mental health. It helps to boost your mood, regulate your nervous system, and even create new connections in your brain. That’s right — the practice of creativity leads to innovation and new ideas! So even though dancing or cooking or singing may not be the thing you market about yourself, the act of doing it could spark creativity in other areas. Tapping into your creativity may be what you need to get a new perspective, to better problem solve, or to break out of a rut. Join us this month as we explore the benefits of creativity and how to channel it for the workplace.
